Online Ukulele Tuner

Use this free online ukulele tuner to tune up your ukulele. This online tuner is special because you are able to change the notes to what you want, this is especially useful if you are using alternate ukulele tunings. The default tuning is the standard GCEA ukulele tuning. You will find presets for alternate tunings on the right side. For other methods on how to tune your ukulele go to our Ukulele Tuning Methods page.

How to Use this Tuner: Below there is an image that explains the numbering of the strings on an Ukulele. The numbering of the strings on a ukulele Click on the note for the string you want to tune and then turn the tuning pegs on your ukulele and match it up with the note that is being played. In this tuner there are two tones provided, a natural ukulele sound, and a computer generated frequency that is exactly the correct pitch, use whichever you find easier to use. If you have a Banjo Ukulele, then the tunings are still the same, so this will work. If you want to check out our old ukulele tuner go here. If you want a preset that is not on the list, or if you have a comment or question, say so below in the comment box. Thanks!

I'm inexperienced with the uke. I found tabs for a song I like that is in the key of C, how would I tune my ukulele in such a way? Thanks!

Tom - Lower quality ukes tend to have trouble staying in tune. You might want to try replacing the pegs.

I'm new to the uke, every time i tune it, 5 mins after playing it needs a re-tune, any suggestions?

Hello Guest. Just get yourself a baritone uke, or a tenor guitar and get on with it.

@Elizabeth If you struggle tuning the C chord try changing the tone to "sine wave" i find its easier to find the right pitch on that setting
